Edgar Award Finalist, 2010

The Edgar Allen Poe Young Adult Mystery Award is the most prestigious honor I’ve enjoyed.

This award was for the first book in “The Entomological Tales of Augustus T. Percival” series, entitled “Petronella Saves Nearly Everyone.”

I’ll add a description of the entire event shortly but, for now, here are some photos of the award and event.

First is the Edgar award itself. Of course, it’s named the Edgar Award after Edgar Allen Poe so the award is intended to resemble him. (I wonder if his eyebrows, eyelashes, and mustache really did align that way.)
