For Publishers

Welcome to my “For Publishers” page.

Here’s where you’ll be able to find information on all of the books in the Petronella series, “The Entomological Tales of Augustus T. Percival,” INCLUDING ORIGINAL ART BY LANCE CARD. We’re talking artwork of all of the primary characters, scenes, etc. I’m truly excited about his great work and you will be, too!

And there will be artwork and information about my others books as well:

FOR YOUNG READERS…

FOR GROWN-UP READERS…

All of these works except the first book of the award-winning Petronella series are available for publishing. In fact, I’m searching right now for a publisher for the finished manuscript of the second book in the Petronella series. The original publisher withdrew their offer for the series during the recession so that’s a story with an existing following that’s seeking a new home.

The other stories are all finished or nearly so as well so there’s a lot here to choose from. I hope you find something that interests you.

I’ve also  published the following short stories. Some have had the rights “revert to the author” (that’s me!) so they can be reprinted. Please contact me if you’re interested in doing so. Thanks!

  • The Comforter (originally published in The Friend magazine; LDS theme). A little girl is afraid of the Holy Ghost – thinking He actually is a ghost – until she is wrapped in a comforter and realizes that the Holy Ghost is also a Comforter.
  • Granpa’s Trunk (originally published in The Friend magazine; LDS theme). A small boy wants to share his beliefs with his grandfather who is mourning the death of his wife.
  • Greg’s Christmas (originally published in The Friend magazine; LDS theme). A child misses his grandparents who are serving as missionaries. He gets a letter from one of their converts and recognizes the value in his grandparents’ service to others.
  • The Princess with Gold Hair (originally published in Cricket magazine; an original fairy tale). A princess is born with hair of gold because of the twisted gratitude of a fairy but the princess eventually outwits the fairy with riddles and all ends well.
