Using Books by Utah Authors in the Classroom

Objective: To acquaint teachers with books by Utah authors covering a wide variety of subjects and genres. To give teachers ideas and materials so they can implement using books by Utah authors in their lesson plans.

Note: All of the Utah authors mentioned in this seminar are willing to come to schools to talk about their work. Because visiting schools costs them time away from writing, as well as gas and other costs, they wish to be paid. Their individual fee schedules are available on their web sites.
